Volleys to Victory, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Miami, FL. Our programs work to improve the physical and social-emotional well-being of children with special needs. These programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps children reach their goals and fulfill their potential. All tennis programs, camps, and tournaments are provided for Volleys to Victory families through Schoolyard Tennis Academy, LLC- a Miami, FL based tennis provider specializing in teaching children of all ages and abilities.
ABOUT US
Our journey with a special needs child
In 2014, we welcomed a beautiful, healthy full-term baby boy into our family named Nicholas. When he started missing his baby "milestones", we became concerned. Three years later he received an "autism" diagnosis that turned our world upside down. The struggles of scheduling and paying for therapies (speech, occupational, behavioral, & physical) and lack of help from health insurance companies made life difficult for all of us. Now, at the age of 7, Nicholas can socialize, communicate, and RUN like we never thought possible! Therapies and endless play opportunities are a large part of his success. We strive to give other families the opportunities Nicholas had by providing them with quality, professional therapy services, as well as a community of families who value health, wellness, and inclusion.
